Highgate 10-year lease extension leads additions to The Summit at Las Colinas, Texas tenant roster

LOS ANGELES – January 21, 2025--Gemini Rosemont Commercial Real Estate, a vertically integrated real estate investment management firm specializing in Class A multi-tenant office, luxury residential properties and development announced a lease extension agreement with Highgate at The Summit at Las Colinas in Las Colinas, Texas.

Highgate is the industry-leading hotel management, investment, technology, and development firm, with a diverse portfolio of hotels across North America, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Europe.

Highgate has been at the building for more than 20 years and is one of the longest tenured tenants of The Summit at Las Colinas. The company now occupies a total of 31,813 square feet, including the entire 14th floor of the building, to accommodate approximately 150 employees. The dedicated office space includes a reception lobby, multiple conference rooms, cubicle areas, executive and private guest offices and an open kitchen.

JLL Managing Director Cribb Altman represented Highgate in the transaction, while Gemini Rosemont was represented by the JLL team led by James Esquivel, managing director, Ashley Curry, senior vice president, and Lauren Halstedt, vice president.

In addition to the Highgate extension, The Summit at Las Colinas has signed new leases representing 32,328 square feet.

The Summit at Las Colinas, located at 545 E. John Carpenter Freeway in Irving, Texas, is a 19-story, 375,706 square foot office tower that was recently renovated. The Summit is

headquarters for multiple companies, including Nexstar, College Football Playoff, and The American Athletic Conference, among others. 

The 19-story Class A office tower features unobstructive panoramic views of downtown Dallas and the surrounding urban center.
