Gemini Rosemont names Schweitzer as asset manager for 12 properties in Texas, Louisiana and North Carolina

Schweitzer oversees nearly two million square feet of commercial
office space

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – December 2, 2020 – Gemini Rosemont Commercial Real Estate, a vertically integrated real estate investment management firm, has named industry veteran Jeff Schweitzer as asset manager for multiple properties comprised of nearly two million square feet of commercial office space.

Schweitzer is now responsible for the company’s nine Texas assets, including seven in Houston and two in San Antonio, along with three assets located in Baton Rouge and Shreveport, Louisiana, and Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.

In addition to creating and overseeing customized asset management strategies for each property, he manages the relationships with the third-party leasing and marketing teams in the five markets.

“These assets are an integral part of our entire portfolio and Jeff brings significant office leasing transactional experience to the asset manager position to provide value for both our tenants and investors,” said Helen Rivero, Gemini Rosemont’s chief operating officer. “Jeff qualifications exceeded our hiring mandate during our national search to fill this position and he has added value since day one.”

Schweitzer most recently was a commercial mortgage-backed services special servicing asset manager for KeyBank in Dallas, where he was responsible for regional malls and office assets totaling over three million square feet.

Previously, he was a vice president with C-III Capital Partners in Irving, Texas, handling more than 40 properties totaling in excess of 10 million square feet of office, industrial, and retail product, valued at over $750 million. Schweitzer was a senior vice president at Stream Realty Partners for nearly 15 years, serving as a transaction specialist representing office building owners and tenants, and was a manager with Andersen Consulting/Accenture, also in Dallas.

Schweitzer has received the Dallas Business Journal’s Deal of the Year award. He has also been named a Heavy Hitter by the Dallas Business Journal and received CoStar Power Broker accolades multiple times.

Schweitzer has a Bachelor of Administration degree in Economics from Princeton University.
